I recently stayed at the Grand hotel in Amritsar during a transit stopover and was pleased with my experience. the hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it extremely convenient for travelers like myself. The nearest airport is just 10 km away, ensuring a quick and hassle-free journey to and from the accommodation. the hotel provided a comprehensive database with useful travel information, making it easy for me to plan my onward journey and explore the city during my short stay.
Upon arrival, I noticed that the room needed to be cleaned as there was a fine layer of dust settled over everything.

The hotel has a beautiful garden with palm trees, creating a serene atmosphere despite the bustling location near the station. The other guests were friendly, and the food was satisfactory. The staff organized useful transportation services for sightseeing and were understanding during a challenging time. I would recommend this hotel.

Very quiet central courtyard is an escape from the madness outside. Also a great beer drinking area in the courtyard and good meals. Internet access was also a big bonus and the tours were great

The hotel though located bang opposite the railway station was indeed bad. The staff said that some rooms were under renovation and hence the poor quality of rooms. There were cobwebs and spiders in the room.A Big hole in the cup-board which gave us a suspicion that there could be a rat in the room. The ac made rattling noise and had to be switched off.The mug provided in toilet was dirty beyond use. This was brought to the notice of the management who were apologetic and reduced Rs 200 from the room rent which was Rs 1400. This is not a complaint and can be checked the staff concerned.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, especially if you're arriving by train. The staff are really friendly and always willing to help with any local information you need. Plus, the rooms are decent and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
And the prices of the food were quite high, with additional charges on beverages. Moreover, there weren't many good dining options nearby, making it a bit inconvenient to find a decent place to eat.
